On behalf of Polemarch Mark S. Jacobs II, our members and the Political & Civic Action Committee of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Covington-Conyers Alumni Chapter (CCAC), we would like to welcome you to our Spring Kappa Koffeehouse Political Forum Night 2024. This forum is centered on hot topic issues important to the citizens of Rockdale County.
Disclaimer: This is not a campaign rally. No campaign literature or signs can be displayed or distributed inside or outside the event. No wearing of campaign t-shirts, buttons, hats etc. allowed.
Please be sure to review all audience and guest panelist guidelines. All guidelines will be adhered to.
ITINERARY:
- 6:00pm- Doors Open/ guest and candidates arrive (All candidates report to Check in Station)
- 6:00pm – Coffee, water and refreshments
- 6:26pm – Event starts- Moderator provides instructions- Elder J.B. Brockman
Time Segment Group’s below: Each candidate will have 2 minutes to answer questions.
- 6: 40pm – Group A (Board of Education); North (Virtual), Kenney, Parmer (not present) Cox, Taffe, Martin, Davis
- 7:10pm- Group B (Post I); Washington, Simpson-Harris, Smith, Wright, Gibson, Anderson
- 7:45pm – 7:55pm -Break
- 7:55pm- Group C (Sheriff); Levett, Hambrick, Muckle
- 8:25pm- Group D (Chairman/CEO): Nesbitt, Oden, VanNess, Sendelbach
- 9:05pm – Group E (Superior Court Judge): Wood, Cuthpert Jr.
- 9:35pm- Special Guest Comment/Polemarch Remarks
- 9:40pm- Adjournment
