Greetings, I have the pleasure of serving as Polemarch of the Conyers-Covington (GA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (CCAC) for the 2022-2023 year. We are hosting the 97th Southeastern Province Council in Atlanta, GA, March 30th through April 2nd, 2023, expecting over 500 to be in attendance. CCAC has the distinct privilege of serving the people of Conyers and Covington, Georgia for 11 years and counting. We continue to deepen our relationships with each other and in community as our service area expands with much growth opportunities. In 2022, Kappa League our mentoring program for boys in Grades 6-12, was nationally recognized as the 1st Place Outstanding Guide Right Medium Chapter receiving the 2022 Guide Right Centennial Jay Crosby Award at the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Guide Right Kappa League. Our Senior Kappas (Ages 60+) are deeply involved with providing impact through coordinated activities with local senior centers. We are champions of education, civic engagement, economic development and health through our Kappa Koffeehouse Community Forum Series. CCAC invites and welcomes the opportunity to open a dialogue with you to further explore partnership in dedicated service and committed investment in the public interest.

Preparing for Leadership
The Kappa League leadership and development program is designed to aid young men of high school age to grow and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor. Kappa League provides both challenging and rewarding experiences to enhance their lives. Since the fundamental purpose of Kappa Alpha Psi is ACHIEVEMENT, it is therefore the Fraternity’s primary purpose to help these young men achieve worthy goals for themselves, and make constructive contributions to their community when they assume leadership roles.

In the Community
At CCAC, our goals are simple… add value to the community in which we work and reside. As Kappa men, we embody service to the extent that the importance of service is included as one of our organization’s core objectives: to inspire service in the interest of the public.
Whether it is through community, social or civic engagement; from mentoring and volunteering, to delivering meals or toys, we strive to be a positive influence within and on our community.
