CCAC Nupes
Welcome
On behalf of the Leadership Team and Members of the Conyers-Covington (GA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I extend a warm welcome and thank you for visiting our website. It is an exciting time for the members of CCAC as we prepare to embark on our 12 th fraternal year serving the communities of Rockdale and Newton County. I am both humbled and honored to be serving as the 6 th Polemarch of this great chapter and look forward continuing our mission of being connected to achievement through service to the community and mentoring to the youth.
For more than 112 years, the paramount objective of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has been and continues to be honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor. This objective persists today as we continue to break barriers and build bridges in our communities. CCAC has found pride in the upholding of the values of our noble fraternity founders by keeping the dream alive and fueling achievement even in the face of adversity.
In 2022, Kappa League our mentoring program for boys in Grades 6-12, was nationally recognized as the 1st Place Outstanding Guide Right Medium Chapter receiving the 2022 Guide Right Centennial Jay Crosby Award at the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Guide Right Kappa League. Our Senior Kappas (Ages 60+) are deeply involved with providing impact through coordinated activities with local senior centers and we are champions of education, civic engagement, economic development, and health through our Kappa Koffeehouse Community Forum Series. CCAC invites and welcomes the opportunity to open a dialogue with you to further explore partnership in dedicated service and committed investment in the public interest.
The current roster of the Conyers-Covington Alumni Chapter includes more than 40 active members working in various occupations. Our members are school teachers, engineers, active duty military, retired military veterans, policemen, and pastors. We also serve as doctors, lawyers, and government employees. CCAC is determined and dedicated to continually making a difference, as we have been doing for the past 12 years.
We welcome you to explore our website to learn more about our chapter’s history and the programs enriching the lives of the communities we service throughout Conyers and Covington. Also, we encourage you to follow us on our Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube pages.
